On
Mach Hach Ba'Aretz you will have an extensive and exciting summer learning and
touring experience. Mach Hach offers its participants a fun, exciting and inspirational
program discovering and experiencing Israel as our homeland. Participants spend
six weeks discovering the special Bnei Akiva flavor, which includes a special
love and connection to our Jewish homeland and its people. Participants on Mach
Hach Ba'Aretz have the choice of week long adventure programs that enable them
to experience firsthand the history, geography and culture of Israel. Program
include GADNA Tzahal Adventure, an experience in the Israeli army, Wilderness
Adventure, a survival training exercise in the Negev and Sherut La'Am Leadership
Adventure, volunteering in a development town while understanding the Mitzvot
of Bein Adam L'Chavero.
TVI
is Bnei Akiva's National Leadership Training Seminar. For a period of one
month, 17 year olds from across the country come together in Honesdale, PA.
In a relaxed camp setting, complete with all the sports and recreational facilities
you have come to expect from Camp Moshava, TVIers begin their transition from
chanichim to madrichim. Hadracha and leadership techniques are taught through
discussions and experiential education. In addition, TVIers gain first hand
experience throughout the month. TVI participants plan peulot for younger
chanichim in the nearby Moshava IO and organize Shabbat programming for their
peers. Most importantly, TVI participants actually plan and control much of
TVI's programming throughout the summer. This not only allows for excellent
hadracha experience but also allows the participants to give their personal
input in to all of the summer's special events. As a TVI participant, you
will plan your own hikes, inter-camps, trips Above and beyond all the planned
activities that take place during the summer at TVI is the atmosphere created
each year. Taking advantage of their final summer with kids their own age,
TVIers create bonds and solidify friendships-both amongst themselves and with
their madrichim-that will extend through the following years.
