Without a doubt, Israel Independence day is the greatest Zionistic
holiday on the calendar. Bnei Akiva never fails to make the day an experience,
generally holding large scale events to commemorate the day. With movies, songs,
dancing, and inspirational speeches, this day never passes without note and tremendous
happiness. Not only is it a day of tremendous joy in the establishment of our
homeland, but also the day the gave hope, inspiration, and footing to Jews all
over the world, a Jewish solidarity unprecedented in this exile. One day, may
we all celebrate this great holiday where it should be celebrated, in Israel itself.
